Logistics.
As of July 1, 2025 we will be located in the Galt Collective 2.0 building, located at 20 Hobson Street, Cambridge. We are so excited for this opportunity, as it will allow for more availability with scheduling. There is a large parking lot at the building, and the office is located on the main floor, making it an accessible friendly space. When you walk in the main doors located at the corner of the building, there is a large common area with couches; have a seat! Heidi will find you at your appointment time. The building will be locked for evening appointments, so feel free to wait right outside the doors at Heidi will meet you there. If there are any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re so looking forward to this transition, and hope you will love the office as much as we do!
First day.
Your initial appointment will consist of an in depth conversation regarding your health history intake form, which was emailed prior to your appointment. Once we have thoroughly reviewed and discussed your intake form, an initial osteopathic assessment will be done. During this assessment, we are looking to evaluate your general movement range, which gives us a better understanding of your individual treatment needs; by doing so, we are able to come up with a treatment plan designed specifically for you. Your first osteopathic treatment will directly follow the assessment. Please wear non restrictive clothing, so we can deliver an accurate assessment and treatment.
Now what?
Once your initial appointment is completed, your practitioner will discuss a follow-up timeframe. Each person has individual needs, so the follow up time between treatments looks different for everyone. You can book your follow-up appointment immediately with your practitioner, or you may book online at a later time.
The goal.
Osteopathic care is designed to restore the self healing and self regulating capabilities within you; we do this by making sure there is proper alignment and unrestricted movement through your body. By creating lasting structural changes, we don’t need to see you in the office all the time. We want you to be able to go through life doing the activities you love, without pain or discomfort.
